INCA Awards 2022 – The Venue
The 2022 INCA Awards were hosted in the grand ballroom of the Queens Hotel in the very heart of Leeds city centre.
The Queens Hotel Leeds is described as “one of the most iconic buildings in Leeds city centre”. It’s been welcoming guests since 1937 – some of them rich and famous. A stay here means you’re following in the illustrious footsteps of Princess Grace of Monaco, Cary Grant, Nelson Mandela and Laurel and Hardy. The hotel underwent a massive £16m refurbishment in 2021; it now features new elegant art deco styling and 232 transformed bedrooms.
INCA Awards 2022 – The Host
This year’s INCA Awards was expertly hosted by comedian, broadcaster and TV star Paul Sinha, aka The Sinnerman. Paul is instantly recognisable as the white-suited Chaser from ITV’s hugely popular quiz show “The Chase” and its spin-off, “Beat The Chasers”. He’s also the host of the ITV panel show “Paul Sinha’s TV Showdown” and has appeared on “Would I Lie to You?” and “QI”, and was a ‘memorable’ contender on “Taskmaster”.
Paul is a regular guest on BBC Radio 4’s Just A Minute and The News Quiz and is a double-series champion of BBC 5 Live’s Fighting Talk. On top of that he’s an award-winning stand-up comedian, a regular on the comedy circuit and Edinburgh Festival favourite.
Our Charity – Parkinson’s UK
This years chosen charity is Parkinson’s UK. Around 145,000 people live with Parkinson’s in the UK and it’s the fastest growing neurological condition in the world. It’s a progressive neurological condition that causes problems in the brain and gets worse over time. Whilst there are different treatments, therapies and support available to help manage the condition, there is currently no cure.
On the night the event raised nearly £2,000 for the charity – every penny of which has already gone to Parinsons UK in their efforts to fight the condition and help sufferers (including from within our own industry).

So a huge thank you goes to everyone who took the time and trouble to enter – we’re only sorry that we weren’t able to shortlist all entries but this year we have been able to publish each one in our portfolio of case studies.
