INCA AWARDS 2023 – NOW OPEN FOR NOMINATIONS, VOTING & BOOKING

The highlight of the EWI industry calendar is undoubtedly the annual INCA Awards ceremony which celebrates External Wall Insulation at its best. Nominations are spread over various categories with each submission being rigorously scored by a panel of fully independent industry expert judges.

Following the hugely successful event in Leeds in 2022 we’re moving back down the M1 a little to the vibrant city of Nottingham. We’ve taken on board your feedback and have made a few changes this year in an effort to make it even more memorable and to make it a little easier to enter too! Although the venue can hold a few more than last year we do still have limited capacity so we strongly suggest booking early to avoid disappointment.

The 2023 INCA Awards will be hosted in the Royal Suite of the Crowne Plaza Hotel in the heart of Nottingham city centre. Located close to the city railway station and offering ample car parking the Crowne Plaza Nottingham is very easy to get to whether travelling by car or train. East Midlands Airport is close by too.

The hotel is described as a luxurious 4-star hotel set in a prime location in the centre of Nottingham close to tourist attractions, bars and nightlife. Guests can also enjoy the hotel facilities including the Urban Escape Spa, which features a swimming pool, Jacuzzi and steam room. There are also gym facilities and beauty treatments offered (advance booking advised).

We are delighted to announce that the host of the 2023 INCA Awards will be none other than the instantly recognisable comedian, actor and writer Marcus Brigstocke.

Renowned for his mastery of satirical comedy Marcus is a regular on television boasting an impressive array of credits including his role as a team captain on “Argumental” and as the host of “The Late Edition” and “I’ve Never Seen Star Wars” as well as appearing on shows such as “Live at the Apollo”, “Have I Got News for You”, “Mock the Week”, “QI”, “Sorry, I’ve Got No Head”, “The Late Edition”, and “The 11 O’Clock Show”. He’s also received critical acclaim for West End stage performances, starred in films and is a published author.

This year we have reorganised the award categories to make it easier to enter but without narrowing down the entry criteria. We will be judging against 11 project categories but entry is a little clearer this year – you will only need to decide if your project is new build or refurbishment, low rise (below 11m) or high rise and the type of finish (all render or brick effect / mixed). Please use your judgement as to which category to enter based on the majority of the finish – we will allocate it if you are not sure which one to enter.

Projects of all sizes are welcome and small projects (below 250m sq) will be recognised and judged fairly against similar size projects in a small project of the year category. From the entries the judging panels will then also decide on a judges choice for architectural design and a separate judges choice for environmental impact. The entry categories are as follows:
