Thank you to everyone who submitted entries into the INCA Awards 2024. This year we have had record numbers spread across all the different project categories. Shortlisting has therefore been incredibly difficult and final judging was even more so. The shortlisted finalists have been carefully selected on a fair and accurate scoring basis by fully independent panels of judges.

INCA are pleased to announce the INCA Awards finalists shortlist for 2024. I’m sure you’ll agree, some amazing projects which truly represent the best in EWI across the diverse range of categories. Congratulations go to all finalists – this in itself is a real achievement. The category winners will be announced on the night of the awards ceremony on Thursday 7th November 2024, at the Burlington Hotel in Birmingham.

NOTE 2: Categories have been adjusted and new ones added to reflect entry levels and to ensure projects are judged on an equal, like for like basis. As a result some entries may have been re-categorised so please check the full list of finalists to see if your entry has been shortlisted.

1: New Build: Non-Residential

This is a new build category for any non-residential project incorporating a full external wall insulation system with a render / traditional or brick slip / brick effect finish.

2: New Build: Residential – Low Rise

This is a new build category for any residential project incorporating a full external wall insulation system with a render / traditional or brick slip / brick effect finish.

3: New Build: Residential – High Rise

The criteria for this category is any HIGH RISE new build project inorporating a full external wall insulation system and finished with a render / traditional or brick slip / brick effect finish.

4: Refurbishment: Non-Residential

The criteria for this category is any non-residential refurbishment project inorporating a full external wall insulation system and finished with a render / traditional or brick slip / brick effect finish.

5: Refurbishment: Low Rise – Render / Traditional Finish

The criteria for this category is any LOW RISE refurbishment project inorporating a full external wall insulation system and predominantly finished with a render / traditional finish.

6: Refurbishment: Low Rise – Brick Slip / Brick Effect Finish

The criteria for this category is any LOW RISE refurbishment project incorporating a full external wall insulation system and predominantly finished with a brick slip / brick effect finish.

7: Refurbishment: High Rise

The criteria for this category is any HIGH RISE refurbishment project incorporating a full external wall insulation system and finished with a render / traditional or brick slip / brick effect finish.

8: Refurbishment: Mid Rise

The criteria for this category is any MID RISE refurbishment project incorporating a full external wall insulation system and predominantly finished with a render / traditional or brick slip / brick effect finish.

9: Small Project of the Year

This category recognises small projects incorporating EWI of 300sqm or below.

10: Judges Choice: Architectural Design – High Rise

This category recognises HIGH RISE projects incorporating EWI into exceptional architectural design.

11: Judges Choice: Architectural Design – Low Rise

This category recognises LOW RISE projects incorporating EWI into exceptional architectural design.

12: Judges Choice: Environmental Impact – High Rise

This category recognises HIGH RISE projects incorporating EWI which demonstrate significant environmental impact.

13: Judges Choice: Environmental Impact – Low Rise

This category recognises LOW RISE projects incorporating EWI which demonstrate significant environmental impact.
