The judges all singled out the winner due to the high quality of workmanship and good use of colour, art deco profiles and architectural detailing which have completely transformed the facade of this industrial building.

Judges Choice: Environmental Impact – Low Rise (Refurbishment)

Refurbishment: Such a thoughtful, holistic approach to this stunning project and the near passivhaus criteria which ensured that every EWI benefit was considered and implemented made this project a very worthy winner.

EWI Installer Of The Year

As ever this award is voted for by System Designers and Associate members but this year, to make it even more accurate, installers have been rated by their suppliers on quality of workmanship, commitment to training, communication and client satisfaction, health and safety commitment and of course how well they pay. Not only did this years winners get the most nominations and highest ratings – they were also shortlisted in the 2024 INCA Awards no less than 5 times and won twice. Very worthy winners indeed.

Component Supplier Of The Year

This year INCA system designers and contractors voted for and rated on customer service, reliability, communications, product range, innovation and support and there were A LOT of votes. A very close run thing but this years winner is …

INCA Outstanding Achievement Award

This years award goes to someone who needs little by way of introduction having been such a major figure in the EWI industry for so many years in his various, high-profile roles.

He’s owner and chairperson at EWI system manufacturer Permarock Products, chairperson and owner of retrofit installers Sustainable Building Services, he’s chaired the National Insulation Association for many years now, and he’s founder and chairperson of the recently formed National Home Decarbonisation Group.

This year (2024) he’s already been recognised as Climate Champion of the Year at the Net Zero Awards and made a Founding Life Fellow at the Retrofit Academy and now he can justifiably boast an INCA Outstanding Achievement Award.

Congratulations to Derek Horrocks.
