INCA Awards 2025 Project Categories And Entries
For consistancy and simplicity we’re keeping to the same categories and entry process as last year.
- There are 8 project categories you can enter – 4 under new build and a similar 4 under refurbishment.
- As INCA represent the external wall insulation industry only EWI projects can be entered.
- Projects must be in the UK or Ireland and either the system designer or the installer (preferably both) must be an INCA member.
- Modern methods of construction entries are acceptable and encouraged but should be entered under the relevent new build or refurbishment options.
- Small projects (under 300m sq) are identified on the entry form and will be judged equally against similar sized projects.
- ALL entries will also be judged against a judges choice for architectural excellence and separately for environmental impact.
We want to ensure that projects are judged fairly and on a like-for-like basis and for that reason INCA reserve the right to create additional categories if/as appropriate for the sole purpose of ensuring a fair judging process.

INCA Awards 2024 – Project Categories
We will be judging against 11 project categories but entry is very simple – you will only need to decide if your project is new build or refurbishment, low rise (below 11m) or high rise and the type of finish (all render or brick effect / mixed). Please use your judgement as to which category to enter based on the main (highest proportion) of the finish – don’t worry, we will allocate it if you are not sure which one to enter.
Projects of all sizes are welcome and small projects (below 300m sq) will be recognised and judged fairly against similar size projects in a small project of the year category. From the entries the judging panels will then also decide on a judges choice for architectural design and a separate judges choice for environmental impact.
