The Insulated Render and Cladding Association (INCA) Awards 2018 celebrated and recognised outstanding innovation, quality and excellence in External Wall Insulation (EWI) projects delivered by members over the last 12 months. Those projects who received awards combined energy efficiency benefits with significantly improved aesthetics.
The INCA Awards saw a record number of over 70 entries, and a total of 9 awards were given away on the day in front of more than 200 industry guests.
The Outstanding Achievement Award saw 2 winners this year with Phil Joyner from Joyner Group and Bob Deane from Wetherby, both receiving recognition for their contribution to the EWI industry over a number of decades, as well as their support of the industry. The Innovation Award went to EJOT UK for their innovative fixtures which judges noted for their versatility as well as for the thermal improvements they offer.
Winner of the New Build Award went to Complete Rendering Solutions and Wetherby for their work on The Creative Hub at the University of Northampton; in particular for creating a building with excellent thermal efficiency coupled with and visually pleasing design.
This year’s Training Award was picked up by Weber for their tireless efforts in bridging the skills gap and training a record total of 1,058 delegates last year alone. Winner of the Installer of the Year Award went to Joyner Group for their ambition and willingness of taking up difficult properties and providing a full and professional service.
Other winners on the day included Joyner Group, Aliva UK, SERS, SPSenvirowall, Alsecco and S and B EPS for their contribution to their respective projects.
