The Exeter House project, a collaborative effort between Licata Building Systems, LC Cladding Systems, and The Salt Group, is now complete. This development on Craven Avenue delivers nine new luxury apartments, showcasing a successful blend of innovative design, sustainable practices, and thoughtful integration into its urban setting.

A Sculptural Statement

The architectural vision for Exeter House, masterfully realised by The Salt Group, prioritises a “sculptural quality” that truly sets it apart. This aesthetic is achieved through the skillful application of expanded bronzed metal architectural detailing, which adds a contemporary and sophisticated layer to the facade. These metallic elements, alongside strategically placed balconies, create a dynamic interplay of light and shadow, giving the building a distinctive, almost artistic presence. Further enhancing this aesthetic is the meticulous use of herringbone brickwork, a classic detail that introduces texture and warmth, grounding the modern elements within a timeless material palette. The careful integration of these materials speaks to a design philosophy that values both contemporary flair and enduring craftsmanship.

Sustainable and Biodiversity-Focused Living

Beyond its visual appeal, Exeter House was designed with a strong commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. The completed dwellings are highly sustainable, reflecting a forward-thinking approach to urban living. A key feature in this regard is the incorporation of sedum roofs. These living roofs not only contribute to the building’s aesthetic by introducing greenery at height but also play a crucial role in promoting biodiversity. They provide habitats for insects and birds, help manage stormwater runoff, and contribute to urban cooling – all vital aspects of creating more resilient and eco-conscious communities. The inclusion of secure bike stores further underscores the project’s dedication to sustainable living, encouraging alternative modes of transport and reducing reliance on private vehicles.

Integrated Urban Development

Located in close proximity to Ealing Broadway, an area that has undergone rapid transformation, Exeter House benefits from excellent transport links that connect residents locally and across wider London. This prime location offers unparalleled convenience, placing residents within easy reach of amenities, cultural attractions, and employment hubs. Crucially, the design process for Exeter House was highly sensitive to its immediate surroundings. Great care was taken to consider neighbouring sensitivities, ensuring the new development maintains privacy for both its residents and those in adjacent properties. Furthermore, the architectural team successfully enhanced the local streetscape, creating a building that not only fits seamlessly into its environment but also elevates the overall aesthetic of Craven Avenue. Exeter House now stands as a significant and desirable addition to the Ealing landscape, offering a luxurious, sustainable, and thoughtfully designed living experience.
