On top of that we’re able to influence and impact at the highest level through our lobbying activities alongside our partners at Build UK, the Energy Efficiency Infrastructure Group and the British Energy Efficiency Federation amongst others.

We’ve also gained agreement and have started working on a new EWI occupational standard and apprenticeship for England with IfATE, the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education. You can help shape the training and address the current skills shortage.

We’re helping to shape and support the external wall insulation industry in all sectors of the market from new build to retrofit, residential to commercial, low rise to high rise, small projects to major works.

Our members can get directly involved in our trailblazing committees including:

  • Technical: helping to shape best practice in all areas
  • Training: developing the new apprenticeship and working with BEIS and industry groups to address the skills shortage
  • PAS development: feeding into the PAS working group and helping shape the requirements and documentation
  • Scotland & Wales: to address region specific issues
  • Marketing: To promote INCA and best practice

From a social point of view we run regular networking events around the country and, of course, we host the renowned annual INCA Awards where our members get together at a glittering ceremony to celebrate and promote the very best in EWI each year.

Our website continues to evolve and traffic is increasing substantially. Development is by way of new content designed to promote external wall insulation and INCA members in respect of EWI works of all types and sizes. Each member has their own listing on the website with a search facility and links designed to facilitate direct contact from prospective clients. INCA members are also promoted in the new and very popular case studies section of the website designed to showcase the versatility of EWI systems and quality of INCA member installs.
