Procured through the PAGABO framework, Speller Metcalfe was contracted to deliver the works at Campion School to both improve and expand facilities for the students including a new build, two storey sixth form block and new sports hall.
The £7.8 million pound build was designed by Pick Everard Architects on behalf of Warwickshire County Council.
Permarock was the chosen system utilizing a combination of their 160mm & 120mm Dual Density Mineral fibre insulation, reinforced render system and finished in a bright white silicone K finish. A contrasting grey colour was used on the sports hall and with the use of tape joints, an effective striped appearance was achieved. It was commented by the client how crisp and sharp the contrasting lines were.
The finished project looks superb and is a bold statement as the gateway entrance building onto the school campus and with the success of this project the council are now looking at the demolition of further existing buildings and a similar build of new blocks around the grounds.
