One of THE most coveted annual industry award is the INCA Award for Outstanding Achievement which formally recognises an individual who has made a career difference to our external wall insulation industry. It is voted for by INCA Board but nominations are invited from across the entire INCA membership.

Previous Winners

Last year’s award was presented to Andrew Champ, Executive Director of SWIGA, the Solid Wall Insulation Guarantee Agency, in recognition of the work he does on behalf of the industry in a quest for best practice, quality of installation and compliance to policy. He’s a great example of someone who consistently goes above and beyond on our behalf – working tirelessly to drive through initiatives like the verge trim development, DPC detailing and representing the industry on PAS working groups and alongside Government Departments … and that’s on top of his day job!

Likewise, previous recent winners such as Malcolm Kitching, Westdale Group, Julian Taylor, Structherm, Padraig Barry – Saint-Gobain and Robert Phin, A.C. Whyte all demonstrate similar career spanning dedication.

Who To Nominate

The INCA Awards for Outstanding Achievement is designed to recognise a person who has made a real difference to the EWI industry – this could be someone who can demonstrate:

  • Going above and beyond
  • A specific achievement
  • Exceptional service / support
  • Industry impact
  • Innovation
  • Charitable work
  • Career spanning dedication to industry development

Of course it could be for many other reasons too – this is not an exhaustive list.

The winner of the award is voted for by the INCA Board but it is based on YOUR nominations and it couldn’t be easier to do this …

How To Nominate

Don’t think that there can only be one formal nomination from each member company because any INCA member employee can nominate individuals for the Outstanding Achievement Award and the person they nominate doesn’t necessarily need to be in INCA member themselves. There’s no limit as to how many individuals you can nominate either – if you have more than one person you’d like us to consider then please submit each one.

The process for submissions couldn’t be easier – there’s a very simple form which we have included below. Just fill in your details, give us the name of the person you are nominating, the name of the company they work for and then give us a little information as to why you think they should be considered for this award (as short or specific as you wish).

The Vote

Every nomination will be presented to, duly considered and voted on by the INCA Board. Multiple nominations for the same person will obviously be taken into account but each entry will be considered on its own merit. The voting process is done by way of secret ballot so not even the Board know who’s won until the big reveal at the awards ceremony itself.
