Self Build & Renovation Event
NSBRC - Swindon

Following a very successful event back in early 2023, INCA are once again able to invite all those INCA members, be they System Designers, Installation Contractors or Associates, with an interest in the self build and renovation sector of our industry, to what should be a very interesting and informative FREE educational / networking event on 1st April 2025 at the National Self Build & Renovation Centre (NSBRC) in Swindon.

For those of you who haven’t been to the NSBRC before it’s a visit you won’t want to miss and one that may well open the doors to new opportunities within the self-build and renovation sectors.

About The National Self Build & Renovation Centre

The National Self Build & Renovation Centre is the UK’S only permanent venue for independent homebuilding advice & support. Established in 2007 they have helped over a quarter of a million visitors build their own dream home or extend and improve their existing property. Sustainability and energy efficiency retrofit are high on their agenda for 2025 and beyond and, as such, INCA are looking to support these efforts and drive opportunities to those members looking to develop into this market.

The NSBRC mission – to help create a better, more sustainable home by delivering on three key promises:

  1. To inspire by showcasing the very best building methods, innovations and technologies.
  2. To inform via an expert helpdesk and range of shows, workshops, and educational courses.
  3. To always offer impartial advice which can be trusted.

This unique venue, covering 67,000ft2, features 3 full size exhibition houses, as well as educational areas featuring an array of displays covering everything from ground works and foundations, to building systems and roof types, plus a full-scale renovation house that takes visitors through the journey of a major renovation project. Visitors can also join audio tours around the Renovation House, where you will hear some of the main factors and considerations when taking on such a project. There are also more than 200 permanent exhibition stands displaying the latest innovative products and services.

“The aim of the centre is to inspire, educate and provide impartial advice for visitors as well as offering services and products from a wide range of selected exhibitors to aid you through every step of a house renovation project”. NSBRC Spokesperson.
