Main System Types

Direct Applied Render
  • Direct Applied Render Protected Systems (to Masonry and Panel Backgrounds):
These systems use the basic components of an insulated render or cladding system, insulant applied directly to the substrate, render basecoat/s, reinforcement and finish (cementitious or synthetic)
Direct Applied Render
  • Rail Supported, Render Protected Systems to Masonry and Panel Backgrounds:
A mechanically fixed system supported by rails fixed to the substrate, comprising insulant, render reinforcement and finish.
Direct Applied Render
  • Rail Applied Ventilated Rainscreen Cladding Systems:
These systems use mechanically fixed steel or aluminium rails, rock fibre slab insulation and performed cladding material to present a 'screen' against weather.

Render Protected Systems & Reinforcement

  • Traditional Render Systems
Thick render systems, up to 25mm thick comprise traditional density pre-bagged basecoats and topcoats to comply with BS 5262. These systems are normally used in combination with a metal lath carrier. They are used widely in exposed areas and for high rise, or where high impact resistance is required.

Suitable finishes include all mineral and synthetic finishes (see the finish)
  • Polymer Modified & Polymeric Render Systems
Thin render systems up to 15mm thick, using polymer modified, adhesive renders applied in one or two coats using an alkali resistant woven glass fibre mesh as reinforcement.

Suitable finishes include most mineral and all synthetic finishes.
